Shakuju (non-insertive acupuncture)

Shakuju  is a form of non-insertive acupuncture that uses a teishin which is a stainless steel tool that  has a rounded  tip.  The  teishin is used along the surface of the body as an acupuncture tool that only touches the skin, no needle is inserted. The Teishin stimulates the acupuncture points without breaking the skin (like a needle would) and helps remove and encourage the flow of blocked energy.
